There comes a time when we all leave home. Immigrant Life is moving.
When I started the Immigrant Life Podcast in 2018, all I wanted was to provide actionable insights to Ist generation Canadians and do that while fostering a community culture where immigrants help immigrants. For the most part, providing actionable insights via the podcast has always been fulfilled as an objective so much so we currently have thousands of listeners in over 135 countries. When I think about it, I always smile knowing I never even advertised the podcast. The growth that we have seen has been largely organic - word of mouth.
However, from the community perspective, we have fallen behind. I desire a closely-knit community where we are visible. We want to know who listens to us and be able to cater to their unique needs in a community setting. Unfortunately, our current technology platform does not enable that desire. To this end, effective May 14, 2020, our current platform will be disabled hence no new episode will be released to all the popular channels like Apple, Alexa, Tune In, Spotify, Google Podcast, Stitcher, etc.

It's a lovely new home as we have been testing it for the last couple of weeks and right now, we feel confident that we have made the right decision and that our future as a community is bright.
